In the middle of June, the 46th edition of La Solitaire du Figaro sailed into Torquay Harbour for a 5 day stopover. It was an exciting time for Unit Seven members as the La Solitaire du Figaro village provided a carnival-like atmosphere around Beacon Quay.
For the duration of the stopover Unit Seven became the home of OC Sport, a global sports marketing and events company that specialise in professional sailing, and they have been kind enough to send us a message and thank us for our support during there time here.
“Thank you for all your support and efforts to make the UK stopover in Tor Bay the success it was. I know from a personal level that all your support, help and last minute office space was essential. The teaser video you produced was also fantastic and I’m looking forward to seeing the video you produce for the wrap up.
Please can you also pass on my thanks to all your staff and Unit Seven members for their help, putting up with us and probably for being fairly disruptive! What was great to see was the enthusiasm and energy your staff had for the stopover and I hope they enjoyed the week as week, there were countless people who put in so much effort and hard work to make the stopover a success and without everyone working together it certainly could not have happened.” – Ed Hill, OC Group
